This is Jack Creek Cellars located in Templeton California. This is my personal favorite winery. I say this for many reasons. First of which they produce truly exceptional Pinot Noir. This is not to be taken lightly as this area is not known for great Pinots. The Kruse vineyards however is ideally located and lends its self to producing amazing fruit year after year. I know this because I seek out the new releases every year. Second, Pinot Noir is an extremely thin skinned finicky grape which demands exceptional skill to craft it into what it is. Third, the owners of this establishment are genuine kind hearted awesome people who have such passion for this craft that one can feel nothing but admiration for them and the Winery they have propelled to the highest level. A husband and wife team, Doug and Sabrina do not know me. I am simply a customer who receives the same warm welcome everyone else does when you visit the Winery.
